Obviously the more games you win and the more succesful you are, the more teams that play defensive against you even when they are at home.
How about going into detail about the tactic, player and team instructions you currently use. That way, we can help you better.
If a team is playing defensvive id play a attacking, slow tempo and short passing game if I had the players for it. This way I retain possession and am quite patient with regards to chances. And im confident my strikers would score as I have faith in em.

hmm.... ok my formation is 4-4-2. with my both ML MR arrow moving to AML and AMR respectively. In the middle, my MC(left) will move into AMC.
For Teams instructions, I will move the attacking bar between mid and all out attack. creative freedom will set abt a few notch more from mid. passing style is mixed. tempo is normal. Width will be abt 3~4 notches away from mid. Closing down is often. time wasting is normal same as defence line. tackling is hard. Focus pass is mixed. Marking is Zonal. Target man supply is mixed. Tight marking is ticked with playmaker and offside trap.
For player's instruction, It varies with different players so can't comment much.
Team talks Im like a mini Alex Ferguson... don perform I give them my mini "hairdryer". So any ways to improve more??Open to suggestions....

No, it's an indicator that you don't have any space to get a decent shot off so most of the time you spoon it straight at the keeper.
I usually play a slower tempo, a deeper defensive line and perhaps give my full backs similar instructions to a winger (so, basically move to a 2-4-4). Need to be aware of opposition counter-attacks, but a couple of good CBs should be able to handle it.

The Ajax 4-3-3 that Joor made works against defensive teams for me - and I also play as Man Utd. It keeps possession brilliantly and creates chances. All it needed for me was defensive tweaking.

I wouldn't have said so, no. At Manchester United the quality is there. The problem is that your strikers cannot get into the right position to get a good shot because they either get closed down too quickly or have to shoot from too far out/a rediculous angle.
A slower tempo will make them take more time over their build up play, meaning they will shoot only when there's a very good chance the ball will go in. Otherwise you end up hacking at a bobbling ball with some fat bastard about to jump on you. Not condusive to good shooting.

i think the key is, sitting deep pull back let them come out to try close you down this means more gaps in behind and you can thred a ball through. If you are pushed up and attack attack attack this will just push them back further making smaller gaps, hence ur longer shots and no goals. but ye watch out for the counter, but really the deeep def line should handle it, also watch out because when the ai figures out your play it will probably sneek into an attacking wing style tactic and hit you down the flanks. then you wanna get back to ur normal tactic and play as you were.

to beevster:
U r damn right..!!!Man I switch to the ajax 4-3-3 way and my team perform abit better(scoring 1 goal) than previous but the opposite manager start to do wing play and get hammer 3-1...
Need to do more.....*putting thinking cap*
p.s. ajax system is gd but is it gd for short and slow passing and tempo??It looks like it put more emphasis on wing play....
