Default Spotting players with potential

Hey, has anyone got any good tips for spotting players who will turn out world-class? I'm in the 2011/2012 season so the usual young players are a bit too old for me now because I want under 18's.

Would it be best to send my scouts out to look for youngsters?

Use the player search function for players maximum age 18, certain positions and key attributes for the positions. For example, 18 year old strikers with finishing at least 11. Scout as many as you wish, and eliminate those who do not meet your needs.

It's what I do, and it works for me.

dustley mulder, marcelo, renato augusto, .

its good to search 17 s and under with great stats, coz in 2 years theyll be eligible for europe as homegrown players, avoiding a situation where u have to include shitty youth players

Okaka is fantastic. Once bought him in first season and played him straight away for the first team as a targetman. Kept Saha out of the team

Maybe some didn't quite understand me. I don't want players recommending to me. I've got Cardenas but most of the young players are at big teams now are too expensive.

Josh Bad, Thanks. Let all my scouts go, so I'll bring in some new ones.

Sent my scouts out to find Under 18's. Lets hope they bring me some success.

Hope I can get a good English feeder team to loan some to. At least then I know they'll be getting the experience that will help them instead of playing in U'18's leagues.
