What is the best way of getting rid of players but still getting a substantial fee for them???

the only way you can do it from my expereince is to sell a player when he is on form and clubs are interested.


If not you can forget about getting anywhere near there true value. Its one of the dodgy points in the game imo

The only way I do it is:-

Transfer list the player for an unspecified amount

Set squad status to not needed

then goto offer to clubs:-

set transfer value to zero
then set a fee over 24 Months

say a player has a value of 2.5M you can normally sell over 24 months anything from 3M to 5M

With higher profile players sometimes upto treble their value

transfer list the player .. no loan.. set asking price to 0 and wait till clubs are interested

then counter any 0 offers with £0 straight up but however much over 24mnths

example: they come back with a £0 offer for smith (smith is actually worth 5 mil)

you counter with £0 with £6mil over 24months...

always works

no if you offer them to clubs with £0 they usually make it £0 non negogiable

Okay, b/c I set Saha to listed and at 0. Then I offered to clubs. Some came back intersted.

I then replied with 0 up front and $11mil US over 24 months. Some replied non-negotiable, other were interested, but the deal never got done and the window closed.

I offer to clubs straight after puuting on transfer list.......I never put £0, when transfer listing I leave it at unspecified....then I offer at £0 upfront and then set the monthly installments to 24 months and whatever value you think you can get.
