three years into my game and he's the best gk out there, playing for arsenal. i have ustari but benoit costil is better, and man utd have afkineev and he's not as good as costil either. is this always true or is costil different in every game?

Costil is a fantastic keeper & you can normally get him for about £20k at the start of the game, but I wouldn't say he's the best.

Maybe Ustari has had a major injury or something which has meant that he's not developed as well as he could have.

He does usually become very good.
In one game I signed him near the beginning and sold him after 3/4 years without him playing for the first team for over £5m with add-ons.
