I'd go for Steven Smith from Rangers. He is only 21 and is quite cheap but he has been immense for my spurs team since I bought him first season. So far I've only had 3 performances below 5 and he has played over 50 games including Europe.

Apart from him I'd go for Chiellini but might cost you a bit.

Gareth Bale is the perfect buy for a team like West Ham.

Bale-is playing well for Liverpool in my current save, but is pretty average (average rating 7.00)
Baines-Plays quite well, nothing special. Moved from Tottenham to liverpool in the summer and has been overtaken by bale in the club's pecking order.
Shorey- 7 England Caps 2 Goals. Isn't strating for Reading though

Chilenni? I've never had him.

you can't go wrong with Bale, Baines or Shorey though, I'd go for Bale because he is better than Baines and younger than Shorey. Wayne Bridge is also dependable

I bought Baines and Bale as Spurs and both have played well. They're both good choices, but Bale is cheaper so he would be my choice.
