Just looking at ideas to make an entire British squad.

Who would you pick?

Just my thoughts as players vary from game to game, but this is what I'd say for a young team for the future, so no Terry/Cole/Owen/Gerrard etc.

GK: Preston Edwards
DR: Nedum Onuoha
DC: Micah Richards
DC: Steven Taylor
DL: Gareth Bale
MR: Aaron Lennon
ML: Ashley Young
MC: Michael Johnson
MC: Fabrice Muamba
FC: Wayne Rooney
FC: Scott Sinclair

Tried to keep them all at roughly the same age of 18-21, and only Preston Edwards the keeper isn't very good from the start of the game. Craig Gordon was in my thinking, but I decided to keep the team all roughly the same.
