An end of season update - nothing

Mid-table obscurity (14th) with a goal difference of +1 (84-83).

FA Cup run ended with a 5-0 defeat in a 4th round replay at Derby.

A couple more transfers during the season, an MC from Blackburn, a Brazilian/Italian MC from Port Vale and a 28 yo SC on a free. Total spend over the season £1.6m, total income £325K. Still have over £3 million in the bank however.

With CM4 still refusing to load on my PC at work, my 01/02 save continues as and when work commitments allow.

Season 2010-11

A high placing of 6th early on in the season gave us hope of promotion to the EPL, but a series of indifferent results saw those dreams turn to dust and slip through our fingers. A final placing of 11th was however our highest league finish yet (and only 5 points off the play offs)

The cups are best not talked about, as we lost in the 2nd round of the League Cup and the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Signed a new SC and a back-up GK on free transfers, and a former Spurs and Charlton DC joined on a Bosman from West Ham.

Finances are currently OK , with over £5 million in the bank. Managed to offload a couple of players who were surplus to requirements, and I am looking to trim the reserves and the wage bill back.

Bedford are still outside the Conference, so I will continue as BPA manager for the time being, but I was expecting so much more from the season just gone
