Jackets for goalposts eh, marvellous

I'm sure the esteemed Mr Manager was fond of jumpers for goalposts and not jackets?

_Local boys playing in the park. Marvellous._

I will concede your point but note that the difference between jackets and jumpers when utilising them for goalposts is negligable

The computer decided that I would need standing room for 3750 which is the worst in the league! Excellent. I'll be having a bash at Drunk Manager tonight with a crate of Augustiner Helles and a bottle of Lagavulin. About a 3rd of each should see me in a pishy heap under my computer table.

The problem for me was resisting the urge to boot the game into touch and surf porn on the internet! Call me old fashioned but there you go! :p

I'll give a short update of my performance so far.
Season1
At the end of season 1 we made the promotion play-offs but did not quite have the players to make it up. This unfortuneatly activated the non prom realease clauses of most of my team and they buggered of on mass. In fact I lost my best 8 players. GULP.

Season 2
I was told to battle bravely and I did to the best of my abilities.
I made the play-offs again this season, the relegation play-offs!
I was told by the board that if I lost my last game of the season I would also lose my job!
I won 2-1 but was sacked anyway! Feckers!

Season 3
I moved into holiday look for a job mode and set about the housework.
The next time that I noticed I was half way through the season with a new club in Serie C/A Matrese or something and was 6th in the league! My new board were getting the hump with me because the computer was still applying for jobs, for me! I was in charge for about a week when Serie B, Bari accepted my job aplication. Off I went to a massive stadium, cash and really good players!
I finished the season in 9th position and chuffed with my good fortune.

Season 4
I sold a player for his min release with was 5.5 mil and I plowed that into 6 good players and a 35 year old Player coach, Argentinian Striker God, from a top Serie A club in Rome. He's more of an angel than god really, if you know what I mean!

I had an okay pre season in Scotland which included playing Stranraer Athletic on my school playing fields.

In the cup qualifying round I had a record beating game beating Regiana 8-2. They even had all 11 players on the pitch.

I've played 5 games in the league and am sitting in 2 place and am fairly confident of promotion, so far. My skwad is fairly large and have I good players to cover all positions.
