i just started a game in the conference with Gravesend and only signed a couple of old player/coaches, didn't do anything too crazy with the tactics, and won my first 7 games!!!! what the frickin hell is going on? and before anyone says anything, i'm not bragging, i just want to know if anyone has experienced similar things with the latest update....

Depends what you mean by "latest update".
If you mean v3.9.68, then it gets easier as we near the end of CM3, familiarity if you will. If it's any other, non SI, deal, then you're in the wrong place.

yeah, its the latest SI update, i've never ever ever used an unofficial one!
i guess you're right, without realising it we become familiar with the game and what sort of tactics to use.....
oh well, not long til CM4 now, but i am a little worried about the amount of time thats gonna be taken up analyzing the 2D games....

How do you play it? Do you import everyone of those god-given poofs you would never hear about IRL? Or du you scout your surroundings and discover unpolished gems.
And do you play with a super-tactic (may God have mercy on your soul) that wins every match for you?
If not, then it is probably too easy. Quit your job and pick a harder team. Some **** from the bottom of turkey perhaps?

actually its not that easy as i've still failed to get out of the conference after 2 seasons........just a bit of beginners luck! oh, and i'm actually on version 3.9.67 - i assumed that the update in the latest magazine was .68 but i was wrong! which is kind of annoying because of all the alleged problems with .67 although i haven't come across any yet....
