Default Wales.. can a club become pro?

A common myth is the one that says "Changing all players contracts to Pro will turn your club to Pro". It depends on the country you're playing in.

Clubs in England typically turn Pro after a year of being Div 3 or higher; clubs in Scotland NEVER turn Pro as far as I know.

I never had a club turn Pro in my 50odd season Welsh update, despite getting to the stage where we were in the CL group stage every other year, financially Rich, and all players on about £800p/w. I'd be amazed if it's possible.

I'm having the same 'problem' in Wales. I'm playing with Caernarfon Town and don't seem to become a pro club.
I also seem to have the dumbest board out there as they keep refusing to invest in youth development.

Anyway, GL with Rhayader!!

Total Network Solutions are Pro in 01/02 as well, is this not true IRL?

Hopefully there will be a bit more scope for clubs to turn Pro in CM4, I think if a club has enough money and reputation it would eventually happen in pretty much any league.

Maestro Vaughan indicated to me that the Finances would be completely overhauled in CM4, in answer to my query about Scottish Clubs going full-time, so perhaps this has been addressed.

I don't suppose it'd be top of any SI agenda, however, as most guys only see LL Teams in passing during Cup Results.
