    LLM Forum and CM0102/CM4

Will everyone here be playing the new game when it comes out (maybe) next week, and posting about it?

Or will there still be a few stubborn people like me who'll carry on playing 01/02 for a bit longer?

I never really get too excited about a new release. Maybe I'm being a bit cynical but the real fun usually starts with the release of the first proper update, like when 99/00 came out.

I can't be the only one who'd rather play the older version when they know their PC won't handle the new version too well either.

Also what about actual posting in here, is it assumed we're talking about CM4 unless we state otherwise?

    Any thoughts?

It depends. I'm currently running a pretty fun LLM-game. (The "Oslo Øst" thread) And I don't think I will ditch it at once. Will probably try CM4 out just to get the feeling of it to start with, and then start a nice little LLM-game.

What Rek said. As soon as the game drops in the letterbox, 01/02's destined for the back of the rack.

Roll on Friday, only a week to go

I figure I'll be playing CM3 for a little bit longer.

Once I have enough money for my new CM4 ready notebook; it's good-bye to CM3

I haven't been too enthused by the demo's yet and I have a nice save(ie. one in which I'm actually successfull) going at the moment, so I'll probably keep updating that. On the other hand I'll probably be unable to keep my hands totally of CM4.

Not too happy about the need for another patch on release day, and this one looks a necessity with the amount of bug fixes it will contain, but it won't stop me getting into it from the get go

For me it looks like a sorrowful goodbye from Billericay in 01/02 and hello to Burton in CM4. At least I'll be closer to home!

I'll be going on CM4, everything in the game is just that much more enhanced...I don't think I could play a game without that 2D view anymore.

So, as those before me have said, roll on Frid...Er...Roll on whenever it actually arrives over here on the wrong side of the Atlantic!

I'll possibly continue my current CM3 Scottish game. It's possibly one of the best CM3 games I have ever played, and I won't give it up too easily.
