There is no reason (in my opinion) why people can possibly justify the Fog of War not being mandatory.

Anybody who says that it detracts from the game is clearly using dodgy techniques to find players and I have no time for them.

I'd say it's the right thing to do, but I'm very surprised they haven't 'catered for the masses' to be honest.

I won't lose any sleep over it anyhow. Should encourage some more LLM style play for one thing.

I will not lose any sleep over it. It has always been mandatory as far as i have been concerned.

Nothing wrong with giving people choices.

I just choose to use fog of war.

What really bothers me is when one of my scouts recommends a player on a search and leaves attributes out. Is this a bug?

One thing i could say for it is that it will certainly give better online games for long term players.
