If I really didn't want real player names, I'd probably leave the game on holiday for a while to regenerate most people. That'd give you a better 'alternative world' to play CM in, although you'd proabably need some sort of mainframe to run through that many seasons quickly in CM4.

Cm1 did not have real players. CM93 did. Different versions
Seems like if you are committed to LLM ideals, it doesn't matter whether the names are real or not. I like the real ones, so that in the beginning I can still look around the world and see how 'real' guys are doing. I never use that knowledge with my club because I generally only sign players who were scouted, or if I am desperate for a particular position I might try to loan or sign a player that is interested (this is on previous versions, have not yet received CM4).
