I used to play FM07 with English/Scottish/French/Italian/Spanish/German leagues running active,plus Portugal/Holland and a few others as viewable and English teams were overrated.

The Champions league final had an English team in something like 18 out of 20 finals and at least 10 of the finals were between two English teams.

The England team also won a couple of tournaments in that time.

Whilst Id love that to be true 07 certainly did favour the English teams, but havent played enough 08 to say whether thats the case still.

i usealy run about 15-20 leauges and all divs in the big ones.i usealy play in italy and as i stated above english teams have way overrated players,rep,attendences,pricemoney,finences and so on.

No matter how you look at it, it doesn't add up.
I know how finances work in real life and all that, but this is FM. The financesystem doesn't work like it does in real life.

I mean come on, £60m in FM = win.

Oh, and £60 balance makes them the richest club in the whole game except for Chelsea if I'm not mistaken. And I believe Portsmouth spend about £20m during the summer.

In last years version, you could make 100.000.000's in a matter of seasons, no matter what european league you played in.

SI stated that they were going to change the financial model so this wouldn't happen anymore. If that has indeed happened, i can live with one club having an unrealistic balance at the start of the game.

At the end of the first season I saw Portsmouth spend over £40m on one player, that to me is a bit OTT, even if the injection is there (which I don't dispute).
