Wanted to get rid of some of my poorer players, Harewood, Berger etc for starters.
I put those two plus Osbourne up for sale and looked for better replacements.
Brought in Bentley, Iversen, David Jones and a few young players to see how they would progress (Mattock and Gosling)
I have spent £17m all-together and am happy with what I have.
The problem is the incoming transfers happened quicker than the outgoing transfers and so now...
Agbonlahor, Moore, Gardner, Barry and Reo-Coker are all unhappy because I signed players in certain positions.
Since they got unhappy the players I put up for sale have gone including Carew who I had a £6m bid for and I have also released a large number of players in my reserves (Herd etc)
We are 5 months in and all these players are still unhappy even though they are all playing regularly and have been in my mind for first team appreances all season.
It just gives the opinion players on the game are thick as **** and can't see when other players are up for sale and being sold etc.
How can they still be upset?
To make things worse none will sign a new contract and Moores contract ends in 2008.
This has been a problem with the game since the early FM 07- altho they appear to be unhappy, there is little evidence that it affects their performance so continue playing them. It will only have a real effect if and when it comes to contract renewal.
This obviously shouldn't be happening if the amount of players per position has been leveled out again. I would suggest posting this in the bugs forum.
David Silva did this to me in 07. I had a lot of CMs, and he started to get upset. What I didn't get was why. He can play in CM, but I was going to use him as a AML. He was first choice, but his performances were so poor and he was so injury prone, that I sold him in summer.
