Anybody know the earliest dates for arranging friendlies/pre-season tours?? Is it just the league re-set date or can you do it a few months before??

You can do it before the League Reset - and it's usually best to, so less teams reject you. I'm not sure how long before you can arrange them however.

Also, to generate a lo of income if you are a small team, or need money, Create "Leagues" at your home ground, and invite B Teams or C teams of Major clubs. (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Man U, Bayern, etc) ... they rarely reject, but still give you a full crowd

I tried this on my Tamworth save game in BSN, works a treat. Games at home to Real B, Barca B, Dortmund B, Bayern Munich B and Sevilla C all generated full houses and a nice £35k into the balance.

Did finish the pre-season against a couple of lower league teams as I didn't fancy going into the competative season with poor morale after being beaten. Turns out I did quite well, only the 4-0 drubbing by Bayern that hit morale.
