That's not very easy to do though. Would be a hell of a lot of work and research and there isn't really anywhere in the game that a map could be suitably placed IMO </BLOCKQUOTE>

There are longitudes and latitudes in the game... So it is doable.

The map could be used as a backround for the competition draws, both international and national. Or as a further info bit at the club information screen.

Love to have that too Gooner, but i don't think it's doable to this game... maybe 2007.

We are talking about GRAPHICS here...

It would be nice to be able to see some part of the stadium itself, the pitch should not just end a couple of yards off the line. Stands filled with fans for instance...

And sth quite difficult, but worth, would be to try and make the blobs more humanlike and better proportioned in relation to the pitch and goalposts. They are too big now...

Some more ideas:

The game should let the user change the graphics (logos, balls etc) through its GUI as it is with skins.

The names of the assistant referees should be visible, perhaps faces for refs?

Blobs for the 4th official, the managers, perhaps the assistants.

Players could be shown to warm-up in small groups.

How good would that be!!
You have to consider those ideas.
I can imagine now when facing man city seeing Stuart Pearce running frantically around in the little manager area!!
That would be top stuff.

I think a lot of you are missing the point here...

I'm talking about more things that can be user added. We have kitpacks now, I would like us to have ballpacks in the future so that you can download the English Championship balls and add them to your game.

I would like you to be able to download netpacks so that you can have blue Leicester nets for example (if they have blue nets )

- Abilty to have kit colour changes affect save games - either through the editor. Or just add the ability to adjust trim/outline colour using a certain colour change code in a certain type of file, as there is already a way for us to change the foreground/background colour which works with save games. (Not that it'll let me post it here)

- Abilty to assign the foreground, background colour commands to pitch items such as nets and dugouts. (i.e. Man Utd home games the dugouts would red, whilst at Chelsea home games the dugouts are blue, or even have the home dugout the home colour and away dugout away colour). For the nets would it be possible to have red and white for Man Utd, Blue and Red for Crystal Palace? (Foreground/background/foreground colour - though I suppose this depends on how the nets graphics are built up).

- Ability to choose when the winter ball is used as its supposed to be used during the winter, not just when its showing. (Though I suppose we can do this ourselves manualy - the best option would be to let the ball be reloaded upon skin changing rather than reloading FM).

- Support for fourth shirts. You can add them in the editor, but they don't show up in game. Though I have seen the game make a couple up.

Well, you could put an alternate view in the "View all clubs" Screen.

Instead of a dropdown list, you get a World Map. Click on any continent, say..Europe, and the map will zoom to Europe. Click on a country on the map, like England, the map will zoom in to England where you can then use a filter to filter clubs out by League Competitions (Prem, Championship, League 1 etc)and select a club by clicking on the specific location on the map.

I'm not underestimating the extensive work needed to research the locations of every club ground in the leafues SI has, but its doable, certainly not impossible.

Plus, like DavClaus says, the idea here is that the community will do some of the work.
