I am still trying to find out. I rightclick on "Football manager 2006 CD" and click open, I click on PC then i click on Data1 and then i try and insert skins but it won't allow it.. somebody help me

Go to the folder where you installed Football Manager 2006 (NOT THE CD!)

If you don't know where you installed it, right click the desktop shortcut for FM2006, click find target.

Double click the data folder.

Put your skins inside the skins folder (make sure you have unzipped/unrared the skin first).

Logos go here:

\data\graphics\pictures\logos

Kits here:

\data\graphics\pictures\kits

Facepacks would be the other folder in pictures (named something like faces, players etc...)

There should be a readme file with the files you have downloaded read it, it will tell you where to put the files and anything else you have to do.

To get the logos/kits/faces to show up in game delete the contents of the data\cache folder.

Also turn on logos and/or faces in the preferences menu.

If they still don't show, go back to the preferences menu and untick use skin cache then either switch to a different skin and click confirm or click confirm and quit FM and reload it. If you switched skins, you can switch back to your normal skin and turn the skin cache back on.
