Default European Super League, retaining nationalities & "proper" euro cups switched off etc - fm 06

Some people may remember my work in this thread

http://community.sigames.com/eve/for...2/m/8272056151

That didn't all work however, now though, in FM06, I have gotten the league itself to work, therefore at the end of the season, promotions and relegations are handled accordingly.

Therefore clubs from england will require work permits for non-eu, portugal can register brazillians and turkey needs to have a squad almost full of turkish players, just like in real life, except in this one league system.

I am currently attempting to put sugar daddys on each club (to model to increased revunue from euro super leagues, without it,the clubs fell into bankruoptcy quickly due to using scotland league structure (closed leagues) - lack of prize money.)

Comments are welcome

update:-

found what was causing my sugar daddy problem, it doesnt work with CSKA Moscow which is a shame.

That means I have got to replace them and the league will be ready for thourgh testing.

Some proof that it has all been completed, just need to add the finishing touches, and some thourgh testing, should be released tomorrow evening (GMT time).

As previously mentioned, teams retain their nationality.

This means that they must follow the transfer rules of their nation.

The "real european competitons", champions league & uefa cup etc have been turned off.

Instead all 42 teams in the european leagues are entered into a newly formed UEFA Champions League. (it even has it in their continental competiton information... and doesn't when they get knocked out). - this includes seedings.

Club placing are based on the IFHHS rankings, CSKA moscow is not included due to an error, if they were, they would have been in the super league.

all clubs start with an extra 20m. They all have sugar daddys to simulate their new found money income (they went into bankrupcy without it due to lack of funds in the scottish league system)

PS. When it is released, it is essential that all four super leagues are run, that is all 42 teams, otherwise it will crash at end of season due to promotions and relegations.

Some pictures are below.

Super League

League 1

League 2

League 3

Champions League Draw

Celtic Information

Fenerbahce Information

Lyon Information

Steaua Information

Work permits for british clubs

Turkish transfer laws in place for fenerbahce

League options

Champions League Draw 2

Hopefully, it will be released sometime tommorow afternoon/evening (GMT - english time)

Many thanks.

db and the INC (replace I with L ) folder.

I would also backup your scottish competition logos and remove them otherwise you will get the bank of scotland logo for the super league, lol.

Just got one error, had it in 05 and fixed it, was due to competition awards (stops game playing on 1/01/06 when yearly awards made).... just got to amend it, put on holiday for an hour, while writing the readme, and then upload later.

README IS OUT

SHP European Super League V1 (14/11/05)

Thank you for downloading the SHP European Super League. This is the ONLY league in which teams retain their nationality.

This means that

•Each club will follow it’s nations transfer regulations, e.g. British clubs such as Arsenal or Celtic will require work permits where as a club such as Real Madrid will not.
•Player values are accurate.
•Clubs behave more realistically e.g. more chance of hiring a manager of their nationality.

Other

•All 42 clubs entered have sugar daddy’s to simulate all that extra wealth that being in elite leagues bring. Many people may think that it will make the game easy, but you are wrong because everyone else in the league has all that money as well!
•8 extra clubs also participate in the Euro Challenge Cup (to make up the number 50). These are currently using the European Leagues nationality (although all youth players are their own nationality). These are currently set in the euro.edt file, the second team id in each team swap is the teams involved.
•Euro.ddt file to retain players from all the top clubs from nations involved inside the euro league ranks (can be helpful when needing to buy players from their own nationality e.g. Fenerbahce).

Setting up – IMPORTANT

To set up the league, you must select the OCEANIA from the continents selection. Then choose European Leagues. You must have all the leagues inside this nation running!

You may run other leagues as well as this one BUT, it must NOT be from EUROPE.

Teams Available

Once you have set up, you would want to choose your team. The following teams are playable (all teams have been put into their respective leagues based on the place in the IFFHS world rankings - http://www.iffhs.de/main/):-

Great work Steven, but is it possible to have Anderlecht, maybe rather than Club Brugge, included?
