Has anyone tried making like a special league where after 1 normal season in each country the best 2 teams from certain leagues go into a Champions league but its like a whole season.

It prolly takes a bunch of editing and because 2 teams are going to move league that means there are going to be relagated teams and then 2 teams go any way so 2 more need to go in lol.

I havent tried it yet but i know how to make it work, just wondering if anyone else has.

Steven's correct (unless you intend to hack the game).

You can't make the game do this as the leagues are hard-coded.

What I mean (if you don't know) is that this data is un-editable. Things like player data, clubs etc are editable and thus 'soft-coded' (is that a phrase GK? It is now!).

I think at the end of the day, is that you know in your head, or on paper, how it would work but can't impliment it.

Let me explain a little bit though.

All you need to do is make world cup setting but instead of 4 years in beetween each one you need 2. It works like the Champions League but is one big league.

The qualification groups are the leagues you want to qualify into it.

In the years that this happens the leagues the teams come from have 18 teams if they normally have 20 and 22 if they normally have 24 ect.

From that you should realize that it works and it is real cool. Its a big way of finding the worlds best team ect.

You cannot change the time between World cups (or any competition for that matter). Again, this is hard-coded.

FM 05 mod? If you mean editor it comes with the game.

I have no FM 05 running on this comp as it is new so i have no way of getting you your s/s from 05. I will just do it on 06.

What i am doing on this game FM 06 like i did on 05 is edit the world club championship to 2 years instead of every year. The way teams get into it is through champions league qualification like in real life. But the seedings for the champions league are the top 16 seeds so that leaves 4 other teams to qualify from leagues such as austalia, brazil argentina if you want to, because you can change the number of teams you could make it just 16 teams.

You may have tried making a world league which is a little like this but has no big attachments or anything like that.

You have a top league and any teams ou want in it and a bottom league with any teams you want in it. The you have the promotion and relagations status's in so teams can move from league to league.

That is what gave me the idea of a qualification for that league and making it a league you have to earn your place into.

I see some of you are now posting like your frustrated that you think its impossible. Well just give me time to set the qualifications in. For now (Yourselves) try creating a league with the best teams in it, and make a 2nd (Back up league) to it to. That was my basic idea and what made me think of this.
