is this possible? i remeber hearing tha with fm05, the poor reputation of the scottish league became a problem and made it hard to get players.

is it possible to change this if so where?

You can change it in the pregame editor. You can't change it if you've already started a game however.

Competition >> Details >> Reputation
The range is 0-20, 20 being the best, and 0 being the Welsh national league. :p

You also might wish to consider changing the country of Scotland's reputation:

Nation >> Details >> Reputation
The range is 0-10000, 10000 being Italy and Spain no doubt, and 0 again being Wales.

Changing individual club reputations may also help.

That'll be:
Club >> Details >> Reputation.
The ranges are the same as Nation reputations (0-10000). It just means you'll need to alter a lot for the clubs you want to attract big names.

If Competition >> Details >> Reputation governs the perception of league quality does that mean that Nation >> Statistics >> League standard dictates the quality of future game generated players for that nation.
