Hi guys, just a quick question:

If you use mcfm to increase a players pa - do you also have to edit their playing stats (i.e. technical, mental, physical) or will these naturally increase with time to reflect their ability level?

If you increase a players ca will this cause their stats to increase?

I ask because I increased one player's pa from 110 to 170, but after a few months their stats have stayed the same.

there stats will only increase if you alter the ca

OK cheers - but presumably the current ability will increase with time as a result of training and playing matches and therefore the stats will increase alongside this?

I'd just to check that the figures for stats shown in mcfm aren't the maximum value that stat can reach, just its current value based on the player's ca?

In MCFM his CA is the calculation of his current ability based on his attributes. If you edit his CA upwards, his attributes will increase quickly to catch up with the new CA but only up to the PA. If you only edit the PA then the CA will go up as normal but only in line with his ability and the quality of the training and coaches. So if you want him to improve then edit the CA first
