I know you can be a future regen but i cant remember what to type. I aint sure whether it works with saved games though. Sorry

You can use an EDT file to create details for future regens, however I doubt it will have any effect on an existing game.

Can't remember the syntax off the top of my head but you can use my EDT Generator create the file.

Create an .edt file called regens and stick in it:

"FUTURE_REGEN" "Firstname" "Nickname" "Surname" "DD-MM-YYYY" "Nation" "Club"

So as an example for me:

"FUTURE_REGEN" "Nick" "Nickolia" "Mahlitz" "27-01-1991" "Scotland" "Aberdeen"

Save this in :

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db

When you start a new game you will see when you choose your DB size etc the .edt files selected, it defaults to select all .edt files.

You CANNOT add a future regen into a saved game.

you could download mcfm or fm genie, which are save game editors. These will allow you to edit the details of any current player, so you could change a useless,meaningless player into yourself and sign him, or whach him go to Chelsea.

Remember to make sure you change the players CURRENT and POTENTIAL ability. Current means how good the player currently is ( ie 190-200 Ronaldinho, Adriano, zidane, Henry etc)

Potential ability is how good the player will become ( ie Rooney would be 170-180 current with 190-195) so make sure you edit ALL his abilitys

MCFM is memory editor, which last I checked didn't let you change names.

FM Genie is a pregame editor.

As for adding youself to an already complied game, not a chance at the mo.
