Ok... so i asked in the general fm 2006 forum about the Media Comments Editor, as there is a button in the game options drop down menu about it, i wondered where i could get if for fm 2006 or if its out yet?

We have not released a comment editor for FM 2006, however the media comment editor for FM 2005(with guidelines on how to use it) is compatible with the manager mind-games comments in FM 2006.

We recommend you make a backup of the original xml files in the data folder before editing. Once you have added a few extra comments to the various files, you can 'load' them into the game by clicking 'Refresh Media Comments'. You will then be in a position to release your new comments in the usual way.

how can i backup my files mate never tried before sorry its my first time ?

To back up files (and assuming you're using a PC) you merely:
1) highlight the files you want to 'backup' (holding down Ctrl and left-clicking on them)
2) Copy them (Ctrl + C)
3) Browse to a location where you want to keep them safe (perhaps somewhere in My Documents)
4) Press Ctrl + V to paste them into this new location

You can then edit the appropriate manager comment files in the game's \data\ folder, safe in the knowledge that you have 'back-ups' if it all goes wrong! Happy editing!
