I was wondering if you could edit on the game, more players to add onto "the next.." therefore, we could get Maradona, Pele & Cruyff into the game, just to make the game a bit extra special

Has anyone done or tried this?

I don't think there's an option for this.

But anyway, it's not that way the feature works either.

dubbed the next x works on the stats of the player he is being dubbed as

I know that but if you could add such as Argentinian attacking midfielder with good dribbling & finishing & penalty taking, you could add a player so it says the next Maradona.

I'm not sure how it works, but if by any chance the game remembers retired players you could (as you've mentioned) add a player called maradona at the correct age and set him to retire straight away.

The game calculates these on the fly so unofficially the only way you might be able to 'fake' this is by creating highly-gifted players called Maradona, Pele etc and then starting a new game.

Remember that the players dubbed 'the next...' are always of the same nationality as the comparison.

You have to start a new game with the newest patch, I think.
