If I set my tactics to 'use playmaker' and then I choose the playmaker on the list, for example, it would be Fabregas at Arsenal, and I only chose him on the list.

So what happens when the player set as the playmaker is injured and isn't played, does your team play with no playmaker, or does it automatically select a second choice?

If you have someone else in the list, then it moves onto the 2nd choice and so on.

Using the Arsenal anology, if I have Fabregas and Rosisky as playmakers and play them both (with Rosisky as a makeshift left winger) will he still be playing as a playermaker?

not sure, i would imagen no, but it would be hard to tell in 2d mode if the player who made the pass was making the pass for a plamaker of your choice or just a normal pass.

You can only have 1 playmaker, its uses who ever is top of the list. Then if he doesn't play it moves down the list and so on.

So what happens if you have only one player on the list? But you still have the playmaker button clicked... does it choose one automatically? Or do you play without one?

Then its like all the other stuff like freekicks etc if you leave them blank. The captain selects someone auto.

Good point... but there has to be a free kick taker, etc... there doesn't have to be a playmaker.

You play without a playmaker as far as i know. Probably better anyway yo play without a playmaker.
