It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Building a Solid Back 4 in fm2007

hi Everyone,

Just wondering if you could help me.I am trying to build a solid back 4 that will not leak many goals but i am having a bit of difficulty. Can anyone suggest any player instructions for a back 4 that will limit the opposition from having any chances? I am currently sheffield united and I have set my back four to the pre-set centre back instructions which is ok but not solid enough. Does anybody have any suggestions? If you need me to provide more info then please let me know.

At the top of the forum, look in the unofficial tactics bible thread and read all the defensive threads. There is also a few discussing back 4's, so I'm sure you will find them very useful
