Vidic for around 4-6m is excellent.
Although if you're Man Utd - Alan Smith is a fantastic target man at any level.

if you can get liverpool to part with crouch then i'd do that.
just won the fa cup again 6-1 against spurs and beat milan 5-0 at stamford bridge.
have u guys got good target men? i did say how important this was. i cant see how it is going so bad for you when its working so well in both of my games

| well like i said just an average boro side with eddie johnson and/or viduka as the target man,
just thought with having the likes of downing,woodgate,yakubu etc.. that i should'nt have been getting out played

luca toni was doin ok as a target man, but out for six months with broken keg. will try smith but to be convinced with him. abit injury prone. do u play a defensive midfielder in left of centre or a normal mid that can do a job there?

Using You tactic so far so good. Im Pompey first match Vs Wigan @ Home Won 2-1 in the end Big Sol man got an 8 so did guardado. Good sign is that both strikers i started with scored....will return with further results

Ok Second Game away to Boro, 0-0 apparantly a bore draw but seemed a good game to me. Again Sol man producing the goods with an 8 in central defence with Dejan Stefanovic getting an 8 aswell.

Now 3rd game Home Vs Villa, Won 1-0 Lua-Lua with the goal, should of been two but for Benjani's awfull one-on-one miss. Looking good top of the league so far.

4th game Vs Sheff Utd Won 2-1 Pedro Mendes driver and an own goal gave me the difference. Still top of the league. Campbell again an 8.

| in both my games i have a player who is accomplished or natural as a cm or dm on the RIGHT hand side of midfield. the more attacking player is on the LEFT of the pair

i just beat arsenal 6-2 in the CL final and realy looked comfortable after the first ten minutes.
it would be good if some more people tested it as i'm sure the people who have lost with it have been using players that dont fit the system
