Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Tight marking

Question: what happens if in your team instructions you set tight marking as "no". Then when the match starts you select by "oposition instructions" tight marking to always ? It`s like you say yes and no to your team ? What will they do ?

Your team instructions are telling your team what to do. Then if you go to the opposition instructions, you are supposed to use these for individuals not as a team base. SO if there is a player who is really creative, then you will want to limit his time on the ball so you would close down often and tight mark always. Now this will only take effect for this player, so the rest of the time they wouldn;t be tight marking only for this individual.
