I dont think it'll work. In the EPL, against a basic 4-4-2, no matter how you crowd the midfield or string passes around, the AI presses you so very well. So unless all your midfielders have a First Touch and Passing of 20, it will be very hard to win games like that.

Arsenal can pass any english team off the pitch, so i think your wrong there. apart from that i dont know how the testing will go, im not worried about results i just want to see 100 passes in a game |

Well I was talking in-game... but IRL, Arsenal have gelled really well and they play as a unit, so that helps immensely. Also, I find that whenever they are pressured, they patiently drop back and pass around in their own half until the opposition gets tired of chasing them around. In the game however, if you tried that, your defenders almost always do something stupid or chest the ball 5 yards away, practically giving the ball to the attacker and end up a nasty one on one.
Maybe I'll try something like that next season though, sounds like fun.

I think the defenders doing silly passing and losing ball while in possesion, is down to haveing to much time wasting, i always have time wasting set to rarely and never had a problem with dcs i find them easy to pick for passing, normaly 7 upwards is a safe bet plus they dont hoof balls up field, thats the part that anoys me but it aint a problem is you kill their cf and dont put time wasting on.

I just set it up roughly put fabregas in the pirlo role, altho he aint a def mid player, he still got 100/81 passes hahaha, altho i porbably set up mentalitys totaly wrong, never even played with a sweeper role before, we did lose the match, not really botherd about that as i know its not set up right... but 100 passes is somthing worth seeing.
Look forward to the proper uploaded version. |

Beevster—why don't you train Fabregas to become a defensive midfielder? He can never become a 'natural' but you can get him to become 'accomplished' (green). I promise I will do my utmost to download it tonight. I'll let you know as soon as it's done.
