This is my target man, Link

As you see I have forward runs often, I do this because I want my targetman to be the highest positioned player at all times. This way he can pass the ball to people behind him, rather than flicking the ball on in the hoe a runner will get to it.

ok, but why his mentality 12?
Yes, you give him for.runs often becouse his pacey stiker i know, but for example if you have in your squad stiker wit pace 10 but jumping 15 heading 15 so you give him for.runs often too? Sorry for english.
And youw wingers have cossing to targetman or not ( johnson heading atribute is poor)
At last what is your sugestion to instruction for (example) striker like rooney (dribling 14) </BLOCKQUOTE>
If he only had 10 pace id give him mixed forward runs and let him judge himself.
His mentality is 12 so he doesn't get caught offside. And so he is close to my midfield, its not good having a targetman upfield with noone to pass too. Its best to keep him near players so he can feed, pass or play them in. If hes too far away from the midfield then he will get dispossed easily.
