what team are you trying it on, i tryed it with arsenal but i only used to on 3 midfield players, it keeps posession well, but as i mentioned in my above post, if you want to penitrate into the other teams defence and if there sitting deep, then its a lot harder to get in, i like using 1 touch passing when im in control of a game tho, you need skill and we have that, but the benifit is i get to keep the ball and it look dam sexy !

So it will definitely work... did you manage to get the passing triangles we do? Particularly between Cesc, Hleb and Rosicky.

And also... what do you have the creative slider on?

im playing with a 41212 narrow formation with side arrows on the mc's both the mcs get about 16-17 creative freedom the rest are limited to about 7-10 i put fab and rosicky in mc roles as its there natrual position and baptista as an AMC which is really a thrid striker when the 2 forwards go galavanting off to the wings, hes got a fiar few goals this season.

As for the triangles yeh they do it all the time, but like in real life if the other team is sitting back you need to bring them out first before you play your fancy passing. other wise side to side you go and never get any forward action

but dont get me wrong you want the side to side action to bring them out, after that you need to switch over to a more in ur face style untill you score, then go back to short passing and pick holes through there or by what they should of changed to "thier attacking tactic". read my topic on reading the game for full info, seen as your a gunner i think it might help

Thanks man... I've been spending the last few weeks trying to totally recreate Arsenal's style.. . a few things I haven't been able to grasp so far... you've just solved one problem.

Do you know how to set the tactics so that we don't get many people in the box, like real life?

theres a post about attacking and defending, it also has a good bit about player mentalitys, which for me has solved all my issues, now mentalitys are sorted you can look into who you want to do what much better, then things start to click, like creative freedom players who goes fowards passing, all that comes atfer mentalitys, so chop chop get reading.

Because... thinking about it... we don't play a really attacking game... it's just because of the possession we hold, it seems that way.
