It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Mate, the only change I'd suggest from your previous settings would be to increase the CF to maybe 8 or 10.

That and set everything else to Mixed.

Good luck!

Some things I have picked up from other people on here, namely Cleon and Rashidi which you might want to think about

1/ Don't have both MC's on the same CD as they will go for the same balls

2/ Don't have both MC's on TTB often, as ypu will probably give the ball away too much

3/ I would have at least one of them with some Forward Runs as late arrivals in the box are a good source of goals, and as long as one of the MC's sits back, you should be ready to deal with any breaks

See point 3) from swash.

Remember, Mixed means "do sometimes", so if your players are on a defensive mentality they won't make the forward run as often, so you can probably afford to set it to mixed.

Personally I leave 1 midfielder on Fwd Runs "Rarely", but I play a 3 in there so the other 2 have higher mentalities than yours, so I REALLY need to keep one back.

Have to say I disagree with the boys on that one.

I think if you play players alongside each other (i.e. 2 MC's) then each of them closes down one side of the pitch, therefore lowering CD for one would make them less likely to stop attacks down one side than the other. That's an imbalance and a weakness that the AI can exploit.

What I would avoid doing is having a DMC on closing 20 and an MC on 16 for example, because then the DMC will close down in MC "territory".

Just my view though, and it seems they're more succesful than me so take from that what you will!

ok,

Which MCs should has more closing down option . More attacking or more defensivly?

If i played with two MCs i try this seetings ( so please help with cd option)

1, Mc- ment 6 cf 8 fr-rearly ttb-mixed or none?,cd?
2. Mc- ment 13 cf 14 fr-mixed ttb-often cd?

in some tactics ( like fuss v4) both MCs has the same cd ( 15) it is wrong?

Because you have the MC's on much different mentality settings, I'd be happy (if I were you) to have them both on the same Closing down.

Because they are on different mentalities they have different starting positions for the closing down, so I'd put them both up quite high (maybe 16).

Having closing down the same for 2 MC's can work, however I personally find that because they are central midfielders they don't stick to one side of the picth. Therefore if they both have the exact same CD setting then they both tend to go for the same man, this means the whole heart of your midfield is exposed and the opposition will exploit this very cleverly at times. I stagger my closing down to make the balance a lot better, and it makes a tactic more solid.

Think about it, if both your players had the same closing down and they both occupy the same sort of space, then if a player comes towards them and they both go to close him down, it means a through ball, or ball over the top etc will give them a good attacking opportunity. Where as if its staggered and they both have different, only 1 will go to close down and then only when he gets closer to the 2nd MC will he start to close down. This means he can track a different players maybe a runner or something.

Everyone plays it differently though and just because that works for me doesn't mean its right. Its just how I do it and it seems to both work and make a lot of sense if you watch a game. However Kritian plays it different and his way works for him.

Again its all about finding out whats best for you and not for others.

The same closing down on each player should work for you though, because the difference in mentality is huge so shouldn't have a profound effect.
