I love the player and signed him but i could never get him a work permit. I even took over the Argentina team when they asked and played him every game to great success but he didn't get accepted for the 3 year until age 23 even though he had 35-40 caps. After the 3 years he received a EU passport. Meanwhile i can sign Alexandre Pato who is only capped at the U19 and get a permit without appealing. Anybody no a simple way around this withough managing outside the EPL?

Don't think there is a way round it but I have to say that Garay is a class act. He'd gone to a Spanish club for the first 2 seasons and I managed to pick him up for 5m in Season 3 with no WP problems. He has been immense for me.

i signed him in season three,when he becomes a spanish national

Sign him, if you get the WP symbol (in some games I have not) then offer him a new contract with improved squad status

This worked for me when I bought Anderson. Was contemplating loaning him out until I heard the offer new contract workaround.
