OK, i was looking for a great goalkeeper for my Everton team. I decided to have a look on the forums to see who was recommended. The one name EVERYONE seems to think is the next Jim Leighton (Joke) is Enyeama.
I bought him and EVERYTHING went downhill from there. He was shocking, and i mean shocking. Consistly passing the ball to attackers and had a nack of scoring OG's. I will never buy him again.
Why do people like him so much?
Am i doing something wrong?
Does he not like me?
I need a keeper that can play in the premiership, and play well, 0-5 Million who likes to keep the ball out of the net. Ideas?

Without a doubt the best keeper in the game is Fernando Ochoa will cost about 5.75 mill, but also i have had the same problems as you are experiencing but i just set the keeper to a default gk setting on the tatics page and its workin ok now

Craig Gordon if it didn't work out with Enyeama.
Sometimes things just don't work out with a player. You got unlucky.

| huh? you mean Francisco Guillermo Ochoa? Or is there an Ochoa I've never seen before :o
Anyway, personaly I don't rate Enyeama that highly.. there are several goalkeepers who are far superior, both in the italian league and other places.
the wonderful four as I like to call them:
Igor Akinfeev
Oscar Ustari (my personal favorite)
Francisco Ochoa
Craig Gordon
All of these become world class, and if you have time to wait a couple of years for him to grow up Kasper Schmeichel is always good.
Petr Cech is obviously very very good. The only one better would be Iker Casillas. Kuzack of ManUtd is an excellent goalkeeper and constantly surprises me. Isaaksson of City is competent. Buffon is obviously a good keeper, I mean.. he's Buffon. Pepe Reina is also very good. Theres also some goalie in some random country that keeps popping up on European Goalkeeper of the year for me. Not that I remember the name or anything, should be national first team goalkeeper for Croatia.

| Pletiklosa (sp)? He never is that good in my games. Middlebrough or Fulham usually get him and his rating is consistently in mid 6's.
@OP
For that price, try Diego Cavalieri. He's Brazilian with Italian second nationality. One of the better goalkeepers in the game, he should be about $10-15 USD.

If enyeama doesnt have to jump then he can save everything. Its just a shame that in goal you need to jump alot |

Barbosa
Akinfeev
Ustari
Cech
Casillias
Reina
In that order. I've never had Buffon so I can't comment on him. I've also never had Akinfeev, but he's so great aginst me, it's only a matter of time before I sign him.
My worst goalie would be Ronaldo. At Madrid, Casilias got injured in training. Adan stepped in for the next game, against Athletico no less. We're three up after 20 minutes, before Adan gets injured. No! I had to turn to my third choice goalie... who I hadn't named in my squad . I looked at the goalkeeper ratings for each player. Canavro? No way, that would be defensive suicide. How about big Ronaldo?
We conceded 7 and didn't score again. Torres got 4, Aguero 2, Rodriguez 1. Still, Ronaldo made 3 saves.
