Eddie Johnson is a quality young striker who starts off at Kansas City. He can be bought for around £850k - £1.2 million depending on what the club expect for him. I have never paid more than £1.2 million for him.

He is one of the most prolific strikers I have used on various games. He scores goals for fun and is a very consistent performer for me. Injuries are somethign he shys away from on my games, he is nearly always match fit and never gets injured in a game or training, its one of the main reasons he performs so well for me as he is always available to play.

Look at these screenshots to see how good he has been doing for me. I should point out though, than in the first season he played a lone strikers role so scored more than he would have in a 2 man sttrike force. Something that is reflected from season 2 onwards. However he still can bang them in for fun.

His main strenghts has to be his physical attributes along with his clinical finishing. He starts off with around 15 for finishing but after a season or so it can rise dramatically to 18+.

You can use him as a targetman or a pacy striker and hes just as good either way.

The settings I have been using are;

Mentality 12
Hold Up Ball
Closing Down 10
Easy Tackling
Try Through Balls

Hehe, just bought him and played him about 5 times, the pace is fantastic but he can't score to save his life. I won't give up on this lad!

i used him a few years ago when he was with FC Dallas....inconsistent to say the least. The guy never produced for me and I unloaded him as soon as possible.

Sadly, in real life he is in a slump of major proportions and doesn't look set to get out of it anytime in the near future.

At the end of my first season with City was searching through players that had, had their contracts expired. Was suprised to see Johnson on that list, snapped him up - not as prolific but such an asset, with 20 pace, acceleration and jumping, 19 finishing and heading.

Have to agree Cleon, the guy is pure class. I bought him for £1.2 million for my Liverpool team and he never lets me down. Scored something like 9 goals in his first 14 games!
