u not downloaded new weegie?i prefer being up to date in FM.Seb Hines looks very promising for me,play Yakubu as targetman run onto ball and sign a strong striker to partner him as i dunno if Mido has been added on latest weegie.

I just started a middlesborough game last night with 7.02 and the weegie update from last Friday (24/08/07).
This was me looking for a challenge as my last game before FM2008. Will post later signings made pre-season but my last game as a pre-season friendly I won 16-1 away to Chester-Le-Street. Mido scored six and Eddie Johnson scored 5.However 1st. game of the season is away to Chelsea.
My chosen formation is a 4-1-3-2 and picked a lot more away friendlies to regional non-league teams as well as the standard ones already in the fixture list just to get the players more used to playing the system.

I have only tried weegie but fm-formation is that the one at www.fm-britain.co.uk. I think that is the one which includes wiping out the point deductions in Italy.
I use the weegie update just for the transfers being updated weekly and the promotion and relegation teams are correct.

Game 1 - Chelsea (away) lost 2-0.
Game 2 - Man City (home) won 3-0.
Game 3 - Newcastle (Away) lost 2-0.
Game 4 - Birmingham (home) ; half-time being totally dominated and lucky to suvive at 0-0, so I changed from a 4-1-3-2 to a 4-4-2 with 1 defensive CM and 1 AMC in the centre. Report at the end of the game which we won 2-0 said "Whatever the manager did at half-time work wonders as boro where magnificant in the second half"
Game 4 - West Ham (away) won 3-2.
Game 5 - League Cup (2nd. rd.) Shrewsbury (home) made six changes to give reserve/back-up players some match time won 3-0 with backup striker Stevie Naismith scoring 2 on his debut.
