Playing as Villarreal on the latest weegie....first season nearing the end of the August transfer window....no money to spend.

Riquelme, Matias Fernandez and Rodrgiuez the Centre Back (who by the way is awesome) are all unhappy....reason being is I won't let them move to bigger clubs.......half of my squad are now dis-illusioned with me for letting it get to a stage were the players just want to leave....

I can't and won't sell all three of them, they are the best players in my squad....

Will they play through their unhappyness....
Shall I shower them with praise??

Any ideas or experience??

Tbh, I would sell for high prices. Players that are unhappy will not play as well, as happy players. And you could easily get more than £10m for each player.

If I do sell I would have all three NON-EU spaces available.

Valdivia is fbb definately sign him. And a replacement for Rodriguez could be Zat Knight. He is great. And another MCa try loaning Anderson of Man Utd.

i'm playing exactly the same game... only had a bid for gonzalez early doors which rejected. he doesn't have a problem so i think you've been unlucky. i think i would be prepared to sell him however if i got a bid of £10 million + though. as you say, money is almost non-existent and need to strengthen down the left a bit.

what formation are you playing? have you signed anyone yet?

a couple of good sales there - i'm really struggling to shift anyone. who is steve smith? where is he from? I'm close to signing matthew taylor to provide competition at DL / ML. have been playing 4-4-2 pre-season. about to start 1st season.

Josico was over 24 Months.....

Godin on my game was worth £3.2M so I just put him at £2m and offered to clubs.

Steve Smith plays for Rangers......looks promising....

I've got Steven Fletcher being unhappy, he has 3 years left on his contract, wants a new one with unreasonable wage demands. No one wants him right now yet he is still banging in the goals, torn whether I should drop him or not.

Have you asked the board for more wages?

If his moral is still good then keep playing him...
