I think Materazzi is the only one you can realistically get. He should be available cheap enough. Burdisso might be available at around 20M off if lucky. Forget Chivu & Samuel. No chance on them two.
But whats so special about Inter CB's though? There are plenty of as good/better ones out there who you can get easily and for a better price. Like said above, get Barzagli. He's amazing. Much better than any of the CB's Inter have. You could get Zapata or Micah Richards who are both great too. And much younger.
I just thought with 5 quality centre backs that Inter might shed one for a decent price.
Barzagli seems too expensive as do Zapata and Richards. I was hoping to get Burdisso for a lot less than 20m as figured he was at the back of the line: Chivu, Samuel, Cordoba, Materazzi
It doesnt quite work that way in the game sadly mate. Even IF he was behind the others he'd still cost a lot. Certainly not less than 15-20M.
Is Barzagli still at Palermo? If he is, he'll cost you about 12-13M. Thats hardly a lot for a CB of his class. He IS one of the best in the game you know.
Yep - I'm in July 07 and Burdisso, Cordoba, Materazzi are all rotation players still. If they don't get a run-out early, maybe one will be made a backup as I think Inter play with a back 4.
Thanks Mike_C - Would Samuel come to Sevilla though? I liked Burdisso because he is 26 to Samuel's 29 I think... although Samuel would be a good tutor for the "next Walter Samuel" Fazio.
