Mirel Radoi. Top notch CB and DM. Cost about 1.5M in the first season. Possibly a little more in the second. Have him at Derby and always gives me solid performances. Highly recommended.

Gonzalo Pindea is another. Another very versatile player like Esparza but I think he's better than Esparza. Have him too at Derby but play him LB mostly. Can play DM too. Give him a try. Starts at Chivas but generally moves in season 1.

One of the Arsenal lads should be available. Flamini, Diarra or Song are all good. Even Nordtveit. Diaby too if you're happy with a more offensive DM (he can tackle well but cant mark).

See how much Sebastien Kehl would cost. I'm thinking a lot but if he's cheap for some reason get him. Quality. Sometimes Poulsen doesnt get games at Sevila for some reason and is available cheapish. Again, a quality player.

And lastly, try for Veloso or Lucas. Veloso might just be happy to come but you'll probably have to blow close to your whole budget to get him. Lucas is sometimes available for around 10M only as he doesnt get games at Liverpool with Mascherano & Alonso being there. Problem is that you'll probably face stiff competition from the big clubs for him. Try anyway. If you land him with a miracle, he'll improve your squad 10 fold.
