Just a thought after (finally) dling the demo and taking a look around. Plugged myself in at Arsenal, just to have a look at what you can do when you actually have money to spend (and ended the game when it got to the season start).

Under the supporters' confidence it read: "The supporters are upset that such an inexperienced manager has been appointed."

So if someone decides to play as ManUre, Arsenal, etc., then it seems they *must* win silverware quickly before the supporters turn on them.

Thoughts?

IRL you wouldn't expect anything less from the fans. .. . just look at Spurs a while back. . .Mr Gross (i think that was his name). .. and at the start, ,, who can remeber Wenger WHO????? :cool:

Of course, Namder also makes a valid point. Maybe it doesn't stop the ManUre and Arsenal starters, but maybe it does stop the Liverpool, Spurs, Newcastle types. :/

Of course then the challenge is to just keep trying to win something and keep the supporters off your back.

Maybe a LLaMa, for research purposes, should conduct an experiment to see how long it takes the ManUre/Arse supporters to demand your ouster. Mind you, finding a willing volunteer will be a mighty effort.

while im waiting for the EP2 and EP3 patches to come along, ive been running a game with Arsenal, and so far not too bad, although i am 5th. ... still in the second phase of CL and still in both cups (and yes i know this isnt really relevant)

My real challenge will be when i start i start out with Woking. .. used to live nearby when i was at Uni. .. around the time the ground had a few deep holes appearing in the pitch. ... but not quite an X-Files though
