Good luck. I'm an Aussie but I always start with an English Conference team because I love the goal of promotion and all the cups, but I've got to try managing an Australian club in the near future. The only problem is that I'm from Melbourne so my choices are Melbourne or South Melbourne - who is worse? As you can tell I don't normally follow the Aussie league.

the other option would be to pick a team from wales. ...and see how far you get in Europe. . .

OK, I made a bit of a f*ck-up :o

OTF'ers amongst you will remember that I made a patch including a load of regulars from over there using an editor. What I forgot that when loading the database, only being reminded of the fact when seeing a news item praising an 'OTF Rovers' player

Bit of a difficult situation here, so what I thought is that although I have the English league running, I won't accept any jobs in there should they arise, and I can at least avoid bumping into their players for the most part, seeing as I'm playing on the other side of the world.

Of course I can leave this to the good people of LLM to decide if this is OK, but for now I'll continue with the game.

Ah bollocks, I'm going to start again. Didn't feel right after I discovered that. I think I'll leave it to Frank Llama to decide my next destination. Maybe I'll come back to Adelaide in CM4 when I get it.

For the record, I'd played 9 games and was 13th in the league of 14 teams, with a record of W1, D3, L5.

That would be the plan, but I've had some problems trying to run my long-running Aston Villa game as I played that on four different PCs as I was moving between England and the USA. I found that the easiest solution was to back up my entire CM01/02 folder, burn it to CD and dump it on whatever PC I was on. Works fine but causes a problem when trying to install new patches

So it's a clean re-install this time round.
