Glad you are having a go in India !!!

IRL Mahindra have been something like the Chelsea of old....constant underperformance despite a good side, and lots of money..maybe you could help them....

If you want a good LLM challenge in India, I suggest ITI,Indian Bank or Tollygunge.HAL too would have been a good challenge....however due to a bug, they along with East Bengal take part in the Champions League instead of Mohun Bagan and Churchill...this will be sorted out soon, hopefully.

All the best !!

No, "The Plumber" is a position in Tantric Sex, you stay in all day but nobody comes. My team are fully fit (or so it says in their stats) and training reasonably. The team has started its league campaign with a loss away and and a home win to lie in mid table. The bookies are offering 1000-1 on our winning the title but I can't get a bet on. After being told I was allowed 4 foreigners in the squad I am now told that the new rules only allow 3. Bugger that as I bought a Ghananian Defender to prop up my shaky defence. I only had one DLC and three D/DMC as my center back choices. My left back is a 15 year old youth. But I have a Brazilian striker and a FC from the Ivory Coast both of whom scored two in my home win. Slightly shortened game last night as I had to go out to the pub to watch the England Game. Tonight I will find out whether I can compete in this league.

You can have a total of 4 foreigners in the squad, but only 3 can play any given match.

You can only have 3 foreigners in the squad selected for a league match, that is what I meant. I don't think I'll be challenging for an Asian CL place as the vast majority of my team are refusing to sign new contracts as they tell me that they don't think the club has the resources to match their demands. They are probably right as my board will not allow more than £550.00 per week and most want over £1000.00 per week, which is ludicrous given the average wages in India.

Never mind burning, I think helpmark is a candidate for the firing squad. Either that or sentence him to 2 weeks inside Saddam's bunker.

We are up the season break now, and are lying third in the table. I was even Asian manger of the month for December. The team is scoring lots of goals but still very poor defensively. Some of my players have signed new contracts after demanding talks so things are improving. I have a young 16 year old FC who has ben playing brilliantly for the U19's and he has been moved up to the first team squad where has appeared a couple of times as sub.He appears a useful young lad.

....actually in Bombay (I was rudely interrupted in the middle of that reply), I found that most of the best places to eat were the Chinese restaurants although the Tandoori chicken at the "Talk of The Town" was superb. I did have as superb vegetarion Thali though, at Kandala, a hill station not far from Bombay. I would like to go back for a visit to see how Bombay has changed in the 27 years since I last visited.
