Dont campfires just sound so cozy and comfortable. "Welcome sir, thank you for your flagrent breach of forum rules, now come and join us around ye old camp fire..."

Back on topic, probably one of my best LLM games was with the mighty Ards back in CM 01/02. I came to them on the back of a sacking from Pavia in Italy, and had 14 amazing seasons with them. Ahhh, memories...

I've done Armagh too and my first season went a bit like MacScarfe's with retirements and sudden wage demands. I usually start with Armagh 'cos I reckoned in 01/02 there wasn't either a leage or team that was worse; it's amazing how the players who were first out of the door in 01/02 are 'stars' in CM4, while the old 'indispensible' ones are useless in CM4.

After 4 seasons I took them to upper mid-table in the Premier Division. I think that was as far as I could take them (although I reckon I could have got them even further into debt ), so I jumped ship to take over the reigns at Galway in the Republic - where I've doubled the wage bill with no noticible improvement in results .

Aint that the truth! Bottom of the first for 12/14 seasons in my Ards game, and falling further behind almost by the day. You just cant help but take pity on a team like that
