I'm 6 seasons into a memorable career with Wrexham, and i decided it's time to post an Update! Unfortunately a lot of this is from memory, i didn't take many screens as i went along, so all the screens are recent.
I'll update each season in a new post, but you know what's coming, winning the premiership in 5 seasons, this is how i did it...

2007/08 Season
In all fairness, the squad at Wrexham is pretty good anyway, and being the club i support i knew a lot about the lads already. However, i'm somewhat of a wheeler dealer figure, as you will discover, so i started my first month in charge by bringing in 8 new faces.
Key Signings
I got the young keeper in on a free from Celtic, he did a great job for me this season.
Most expensive signing of the season, £28K from Liverpool. I saw him play against us in a pre season friendly, and instantly snapped him up. Although his stats aren't great, he abnged the goals in. Top scorer for me that season.

January rolled around and i dived in to the market again.
All but ********* turned out to be key signings, and we finished the season in 3rd place, automatic promotion.
This turned out to be the only season that we didn't get straight promotion. The board wanted to avoid relegation, and for some reason i was unwilling to set my sights too much higher. This resulted in no transfer budget, and a struggling wage budget to match. I knew that i needed to make more changes, so i let 19 players go, bringing in a lowly £17K to aid the wages.

I did manage to bring in new faces though, 10 to be exact. (7 permanent deals, 3 loans)
Key Signings
The young centre back came in on a free from Bolton. He bagged us some vital goals from FK's, and was solid all year at the back (despite us conceding 78 goals!!)
Another free from Tottenham. I'd been tracking this player for a long time, and finally managed to convince him to come. I played him all across the midfield, in a formation.

We toiled all year, and ended up finishing 17th, only 5 points clear of the relegation zone.
