There's a training bug? All my training scheduals are working like a charm... it's just a matter of picking the right combination for your style of play =/
And people tend to ignore defense training for striker, but they fail to realise that certain aspects of defence training, such as decisions are ignored.

First of all at the start of the game Rooney has not reached his potential and he is under 24, if his stats improve, it may not be due to training but purely natural progression.
Secondly, I am pretty sure decisions is covered by tactics training, not defending. If you meant concentration, I have tested in 07 that a striker with a concentration of 1 can score 30 goals in 20 games.
