I just finished my first season with utd and i won the treble, didn't really do anything special except in the finals (which were all against chelsea) in which i stiffled lampard and that seems to stop them.

anyone else finding it easy?

I am trying to kid myself into thinking that i am a great manager at Cambridge winning game after game and am in the playoffs when i was supposed to get something like a midtable. But i think you are right.
I have also found that there have been at least 3 occasions where i have been down and out eg 4-1 down and have one which seems a bit unrealistic to me, especially as i am the manager and i haven't reached christmas yet.

Bro when you select UTD all you have to is hit the "WIN" button (AKA Continue button) and you are done.

It would be very useful if all of you who claim, each year, that the game is "too easy," would provide some details concerning exactly what you are doing that enables you to blaze through with nothing but victories.

Many of us find the game extremely difficult to succeed at unless you are playing some super team like Chelsea or Man U.

I don't support Chelsea or Man U. I would like to have at least some success managing teams I support.

These 1 or 2 sentence thread starters bragging about how "easy" the game is are as useless as the 1 or 2 sentence thread starters complaining about how bad the game is.

Some details, please. With teams other that Chelsea, Man U, Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc etc.

Help the rest of us get more enjoyment out of FM.

If you think the game is easy why dont you start with a lower league club and try to get them in the premiership anyone who plays with man utd should get instant sucess.

If you want a challenge in FM I suggest adjusting training for all players to a light-moderate level. The AI never gets the training modifiers that the player gets and therefore the player has an unfair advantage.

If you adjust training so your players will only get slight bonusses the game becomes much more interesting.

Personally I find this game the hardest of all CM & FM games.

I am struggling to finish in the top half of the premiership with the likes of tottenham when I have signed Riquelme, lucho gonzalez, downing and crespo.

My first season I finished 10th and second season I finished 8th then didnt get my contract renewed.

I also find teams coming back from 3-0 down at half time against me even when I try my best to wrap the game up tactically.

I manage Man utd and I find it pretty difficult. But I'm obviously just a crap manager. Ah well, challenging = fun.
