Anticipation: It is the ability to "read" the game, in real life, it comes as players being able to predict what will happen later, where to make the run, and how to beat opponent's offside trap. It is also somewhat linked imo to the ability to predict the flight of the ball.
Bravery: Is how brave someone is. Flying into tackles, getting jersy dirty, going into rough aerial chanllenge etc.
Decision: Vital stat for a lot of player, it defines whether "he thinks" something is right to do. For a defender, for instance, he will think "should I go tackle that player to win the ball or should I stay back and try keep myself between me and the goal?" A good decision making player will usually do the right thing at the right time.
Off the ball: The movement of the player without the ball. Vital stats for strikers as it makes them hard to mark.
Positioning: Vital stat for defender, the ability to put himself into good (defensive ) positions so he can intercept/tackle the ball.
Work Rate/Determination: Work rate is the player's willingness to do hard works such as chasing down the ball, closing down even their player is long away, chasing lost courses, etc. Determination is how strong the player's will is. Player with high Determination will generally keep their performance even things have gone badly.

Anticipation is that sixth sense some strikers have. Think Ian Wright, Gary Lineker, Ian Rush, Van Nistelrooy.
They just knew where the ball would come in advance, so they were "always" in the right position to tap it in.
While off the ball is movement without the ball, making sure you are unmarked so you are an option to pass to for your team mate with the ball.

Hehe, true since its mostly men who play FM.
Men never open manuals, looking in a manual is to admit defeat.

He probably is too eager to play the game </BLOCKQUOTE>
*sigh* I've grown too cynical - my first thought was "He probably doesn't have one."

Yeah, pretty much. Thus the sigh - I caught myself jumping to the unfounded accusation, rather than remembering how unlikely I was to read a 56-page manual at age thirteen. I'm not sure whether that depresses me more about myself or more about modern society at large.
