The forums have been horrible for a couple of days. However I've just installed the adblocker add-on for Mozilla Firefox and it seems to have fixed things. It's flying for me now anyway.

yea because its been down all day and surely it would only take half hour max to upload a patch for mass download, but in the same sense you would think that if it was just a technical error they also would have fixed it by now.

No, the servers have been down for at least the past 18 hours. It wouldn't take that long to upload the patches.
