I know this is probably a pointless thread, but I am sick to the back teeth of the opposition goalkeeper getting MOM. I know what some of you will say "change tactics" or maybe "too many long shots". Trust me if you saw the commentary you would know what I mean. Doesn't matter where i shoot from, 6 yard line, penalty spot and so on.

So I think to myself "maybe he is on great form with high morale". Well surprise surprise he has poor morale and he gets his highest rating of the season. If this happened once, twice or maybe three times i would understand, but 6 or 7 times in ten games i cant believe. Im sorry but I just had to let off some steam or the CPU was going out the window. :thdn:

I believe it's the game's way of telling you that your tactics aren't quite right. It's really not satisfactory though.

The AI goalkeeper seems to be tremendous against a human player. Mainly to keep the score realistic. A decent enough tactitian could easily have 15-17 clear cut chances on the goal in any given match. So to avoid jumbo scores the game has some kind of mechanism to stop us from scoring. I hate it too, but it's there... at least they should change it so it doesn't cut in until you're at least 4 goals up.... but that's just my view.

It certainly is one of the most annoying things when a crappy goalkeeper valued at 500k saves every single shot. But I can't say I've had it happen frequently. If it did then I think I'd throw the game out the window in frustration.

Hmm... how about you try to make one of your strikers hold back. I.e not run foraward, and have another one run forward. make them both shortpass. Maybe you're just overflowing the goalkeeper to do too many reflex saves (even crap ones can be masters at this)

I haven't seen the AI keeper get man of the match against me for ages. Although now I've said that the keeper will get it all the time.

Players always end their goal drought against me but you just have to get on with it.

I dont know if it happens more to me than the computer or because its me i notice it more.

You can guarentee bottom of the league will end my winning run. Smashing teams for fun and then out of the blue bottom of the league has done me with some ease.

A guy who has scored all season will hit a 40 yard screamer in stoppage time to win the game.

A useless keeper will somehow play the game of his life against me in a major match and net a 10.

Sounds like with me and my FM arch-rivals fulham.. they ALWAYS find a way to beat me... I hate them... I'm very glad they never get to qualify for CL, if they did I'd lose to them there too...
